GWWO Receives First Place in the Midsize Category for the BBJ's Best Place to Work Competition!

GWWO Receives First Place in the Midsize Category for the BBJ's Best Place to Work Competition!

GWWO is proud to announce that for the fourth year in a row, we have been named a Best Place to Work by the Baltimore Business Journal! Moreover, after three years of being named a finalist or runner up, this year GWWO came in first place in the midsize category!

Wondering how we became a Best Place to Work? Each year the Baltimore Business Journal holds a competition where finalists and winning companies are selected through a months-long nomination process, followed by a confidential and anonymous survey conducted by Quantum Workplace that gathers honest employee feedback. The program measures a wide range of research-validated workplace factors that impact employee satisfaction. Quantum Workplace then generates a numerical score for each company which determines the final rankings. The winners are then profiled by the BBJ’s editorial staff.

This year, the editorial staff spoke to each company’s CEO to find out what they think makes their company a Best Place to Work. In response to “How can you tell when your employees are most happy?” GWWO’s President and Design Principal, Alan Reed, provided the following insight: “Overall, what’s most telling for me is when I can see than an employee is actively engaged. When employees are excited by and focused on the projects they’re working on, I know that we must be doing something right.” To see more of what he had to say, read the rest of the article here. Congratulations to all the winners and finalists on creating great places to work!
