Communities of learners are created through a central organizing structure that features a collection of neighborhoods segmented by grade level. A central commons space within each grade cluster provides open and flexible areas for differentiated instruction and problem-based learning.
Interior and exterior color selections—one color for each grade level—help to foster a sense of identify and assists with student wayfinding. Expanses of glass and ample outdoor space continually bridge indoors and out. A light-filled media center with connecting outdoor reading garden along with a second-floor rooftop classroom offer differing mediums for learning and gathering.
